Bartholomew {Newborn}

A wonderful friend at work connected me with baby Bart’s parents long before he was born.  Bart took his sweet time, staying put well past his due date, so we pushed the session back a couple different times.  Even though he was born just about 48 hours before our scheduled shoot, his dad assured me that they wanted to keep the date and time we had planned on.  When I arrived, they had only been home from the hospital for about an hour!  So this is what two days new looks like.  Enjoy.  🙂

The Deutsches {Family}

One of my favorite things about doing photography is the opportunity it gives us to see friends that we don’t get to see all of the time.  With my husband, Ryan, along, we sure had a fun evening with Danny, Jill, and Lucas.  Can’t believe that Lucas is already two!

The Kapellens {Family}

I had begun to think that the world was against us – between sickness and rainy days – but finally, a sunny evening with the Kapellens!

Jake and Bethany have become great friends of ours over the last year or so.  Their son, Joel, is the first baby among our Madison friends – and has the sweetest little smiles you’ve ever seen.  We’re all pretty smitten with him.  From these shots alone, you can tell what a charmer he is.  🙂

Enjoy!

Oh, and you should all check out Bethany’s new blog – Glass House Mom!

Logan {Newborn}

During this session, I almost forgot that babies generally cry…

Logan wasn’t sleepy, but he sure was content.  And his sister was a dream to work with, too; she loves her new brother so much.

We had a great morning together.  Check out a few of the pictures!
